Smoking Drops in Iowa by Over 50 Percent

DES MOINES - A new report shows Iowans are smoking less... a lot less.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says cigarette sales across the state in 2009 dropped by 52 percent.

But that drop didn't happen for teen smokers. The University of Iowa conducted the study and found that the number of teen smokers remained steady.
