CEDAR RAPIDS - You can already see a few walls of the new steam plant that's going up on Coe Road in Cedar Rapids.

The plant will provide steam heat and hot water for both Coe College and St. Luke's Hospitals and Clinics.

Plans call for the plant to be finished in July.

It will run on natural gas.
