UI Stops Plans to Show a Porn at Bijou

IOWA CITY - University of Iowa officials shut down a student group's plan to show a porn video.

The Bijou Theater planned to show the movie Disco Dolls in Hot Skin as part of a Valentine's Day party.

After finding out about it, Vice President for Student Services Tom Rocklin halted it.

Rocklin said there was no educational purpose and showing the movie would not be in the public's interest.
