North Liberty- If you're feeling down because of the bitterly cold winter months, there's a great way to improve your mood, shed a few pounds and help with joint pain.
Several people in the Corridor Community are opting to infrared saunas to improve their overall health.
Medical studies prove the infrared sauna can reduce 600 calories in just a half hour.
The infrared sauna is a hot spot at Ladies Workout Express and #1 Sun in North Liberty.
Rhonda Beelman says, " I use it because it helps with my arthritis and it helps if I have a cold."
Dr. Rob Mesch with Chiropractic T.L.C. In North Liberty says, " the heat has a penetrating affect on muscles and helps loosen up joints."
Studies prove the sauna also helps with detoxification.
The sauna makes the same rays that come from the sun without the UV radiation.
Most studies show the infrared sauna is a healthy way to improve your overall health.
