Truck Rollovers Slow Westbound Interstate 80 Traffic

Westbound traffic along Interstate 80 is slowed in two locations as crews untangle a pair of semi-trailer truck accidents.

An Iowa State Patrol dispatcher in Cedar Rapids said I-80 westbound is down to a single lane about a mile west of the Marengo exit and between the Williamsburg and Highway 151 interchanges.

Details on the nature of the accidents and potential injuries are not yet available. It’s also not immediately known when the accidents, reported after noon, would be cleared.
