Hotel Worker Arrested for Stealing from Guests' Rooms

WATERLOO (AP) - A housekeeper at the Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo has been accused of taking items from rooms at the hotel in November and December.

Alex Michael Garrison was arrested Dec. 15 and charged with second-degree theft and fifth-degree theft for allegedly stealing property worth $1,210. Second-degree theft is a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Fifth-degree theft is a misdemeanor.

Court records allege he looked through guests' personal belongings and took money and other property from three different rooms between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15.
