FORT MADISON (AP) - Investigators suspect arson in two weekend fires in Fort Madison.

No one was injured in either of the blazes.

Police say the site of the first fire on Saturday, at an instrument manufacturer, shows signs of a break-in. The fire was contained and did minimal damage.

Police say a second fire, reported early Sunday, caused $50,000 in damage to a Fort Madison rental house. No one was home at the time of the fire.

Fort Madison Fire Chief Joey Herren says investigators aren't releasing much information about the fires until the investigations are complete.

The causes of the fires haven't been determined.
