Authorities ID Man Killed in Clayton County Rollover

CLAYTON COUNTY - Authorities have identified the man killed in a single vehicle accident in rural Clayton County.

Michael Hefel of Sherrill was killed when his pickup left the road near North Buena Vista in Clayton County, the Iowa State Patrol said.

Hefel, 53, was driving south on County Road C9Y about 5:30 p.m. Monday when his truck left the road at the Tollgate Road intersection and rolled. He was thrown from the pickup’s cab.
