BENTON COUNTY - A 75-year-old Lisbon woman was seriously injured in a one vehicle accident around 9:20 a.m. Monday.

The Benton County Sheriff's office says Justine Lillian Bova was westbound on highway 30 just west of the Benton/Linn County line in Benton County when she apparently lost control on the snow and ice covered roadway. The vehicle went into the median and overturned coming to rest on its top.

Ms. Bova who was alone in the vehicle had to be extricated by Atkins Fire and First Responders. She was flown to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City by Lifeguard Helicopter from Cedar Rapids.

There is no word on her condition.
