Vinton Man Accused of Running Wife Over

VINTON - A Vinton man is accused of running over his wife during a fight on Christmas Day.

Police say Kelly Starry, 48, and Ann Starry, 45, were arguing at the corner of First Avenue and 12th Street in Vinton. When Kelly went to drive away, police say he ran over his wife, Ann. She's in intensive care at a Cedar Rapids hospital.

Police later arrested Kelly for Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Serious Injury and Domestic Abuse Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. He's being held in the Iowa County Jail.
