WATERLOO - An inmate who walked away from work release is back in custody.

Black Hawk County Sheriff's deputies captured 21 year-old Tyangus Deering in Waterloo Wednesday afternoon.

An anonymous tip led them to him. He failed to return to a Waterloo work release facility earlier this week.
