CEDAR RAPIDS - One flood victim has a new house, in the same spot on Fourth Street Southwest in Cedar Rapids.

Crews Wednesday moved a house onto the foundation where Wendy Beard's flooded house once stood.

After tearing down the old home, the group block by block helped pay to move this house into its spot. Beard says she's elated to finally be moving back into the neighborhood she loves.

"This has been really exciting. Then they let me drive the truck too so this has been nothing but a really positive, fun, exciting experience. I'm really happy."

The cold actually delayed the house moving. A skid loader froze to the street, blocking the houses path for a brief time.
