IOWA CITY - Former Iowa basketball player Pierre Pierce is now living with his parents in Illinois, a move that's expected to become permanent.

Pierce is on probation after pleading guilty and serving prison time for charges relating to an assault on a former girlfriend.

A judge restricted Pierce to living in Iowa. But both Iowa and Illinois granted his request to go home. If Illinois approves the deal, it would supervise the remaining 3.5 years of Pierce's probation.
