Corn and Soybean Land Prices on Rise

AMES - Higher corn and soybean prices are pushing the cash rental rates for Iowa further up.

A new study from the Iowa State Extension estimates the average for corn and soybean land for 2007 is now at $150-per-acre, up from $137 in 2006.

That's the largest increase in a year since the survey was established in 1994.
