CEDAR RAPIDS - With so many people keeping an eye toward Thanksgiving dinner, some college students helped get meals out Tuesday.
About two dozen students from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids spent their morning and afternoon delivering food through the Meals for Wheels program.
"I have some patients who are with Meals for Wheels and I wanted to come here and see what it's like," said senior Amy Roshuer.
All of the work from Meals on Wheels today came out of the Horizons office on 5th Street SE.
