Man Accused in Sabula Shooting Makes Court Appearance

JACKSON COUNTY - An Illinois man made his first court appearance on Monday after a weekend shooting in Jackson County.

David Zabransky, 46, of Paletine, Illinois is being charged with attempted murder.

This stems from a shooting in Sabula early Sunday morning.

Police found Sheldon Woodhurst, 46, shot in the stomach on Pearl Street.

He was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals.

We don't know his condition at this time.
