Des Moines Police Arrest Three for Prostitution

DES MOINES (AP) - An investigation into prostitution by Des Moines police has led to the arrests of three suspects.

Police say Tiashana Morgan, 21, of Milwaukee was arrested Thursday and charged with prostitution and marijuana possession. Also arrested were Autumn Hoffman, 29, of Des Moines and Aaron Jones, 32, of Ankeny. Both were charged with prostitution.

Des Moines Police Sgt. Lori Lavorato refused to say where the three were arrested or describe the scope and nature of the investigation.

According to police reports, female investigators allegedly observed criminal behavior by the trio. However, Lavorato refused to say if the officers were working undercover or whether police arrested the suspects in a sting.

Lavorato says authorities don't want to say much because the investigation is ongoing.
