DUNCAN (AP) - Family and friends in the tiny Hancock County town of Duncan have laid to rest TereseAnn Marie Lynch, who was shot to death last week in Des Moines, allegedly by her estranged husband.

Funeral services for the 30-year-old Iowa Air National Guard member were held Monday morning at St. Wenceslaus Roman Catholic Church in Duncan.

Lynch died of a shotgun blast Wednesday during an hour-long standoff at a Des Moines apartment building that also wounded a police officer.

Lynch, who was the mother of a young child, had completed three tours of duty in Iraq.

About 20 members of the U.S. Air Force attended the funeral Mass.
