One Dead, One Injured Following W. Iowa Car Crash

ATLANTIC (AP) - Authorities say a western Iowa man is dead and another is injured following a single vehicle accident in Cass County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened early Sunday around 3 a.m. A 1999 Chevy Cavalier was traveling near Anita when the car left the road and overturned.

Both men were ejected from the vehicle.

Brandon Hacker, 22, was taken to Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic where he died from injuries. An 18-year-old was also injured. His condition was not immediately available.

It was unclear which man was driving the vehicle.
