By Daren Sukhram

CEDAR FALLS - On October 28, Cedar Falls Police were called to the area of The Ridges off of West 1st Street, in which several vehicles and garages had been broken into and items taken.

The same day, the area of Terrace Drive and Neola had the same types of break-ins.

Less than a week later on November 3, 2009, police took additional reports of vehicles and garages being broken into in the area of West 10th Street.

Police again responded to break-ins on November 12, in the areas of Erik Road and the Hillcrest Apartments.

During the investigation officers learned of possible suspects in the case. Search warrants were obtained for the suspect's residences--525 Evergreen and 253 Parkview Blvd in Waterloo. During the search of these residences items that had been taken from the burglaries that occurred in Cedar Falls were found.

Quinton Lee Moore, 22, and Jacob Zachary Burton, 28, both of Waterloo, face several burglary charges. Both men are being held in the Black Hawk County Jail.

The investigation into the burglaries continues and additional charges and arrests are possible.
