CEDAR RAPIDS - Nice weather made for a perfect day for the Cedar Hills Community Church to go out and serve the community.

The Cedar Rapids church actually canceled services Sunday morning as part of their Faith in Action day.

Over 300 members and friends served more than 20 individuals, non-profits and government organizations.

The group did everything from raking to painting, flood recovery and even visiting nursing homes.

Church members say it was a great opportunity to make a difference in the city.
