Police Investigate Stabbing in Marshalltown

MARSHALLTOWN - One person is injured after an early morning stabbing in Marshalltown.

Just before 4:40 Saturday morning police were called to 427 Swayze Street. When they arrived, officials found a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to his abdomen and back.

The victim was transported by ambulance to the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center, where he is listed in critical condition. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.

Marshalltown Police have issued a material witness warrant for Yousif Ahmed Ibrahim, 20, of Des Moines. He is described as approximately six feet, two inches tall with hair arranged in corn rows. He weighs approximately 150 pounds.

According to police, Ibrahim is to be considered armed & dangerous.
