Morning Accident Injures One Person in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY - One person is injured in an early morning accident in Washington County.

Shortly after 5:30 Saturday morning, emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle accident at mile marker 69 along Highway 218 southbound.

Few details are being released at this time but authorities say one person was transported via AirCare Air Ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospitals.
