Attempted Murder Case Resumes in Dubuque Co.

DUBUQUE - Testimony continued Wednesday in a Delaware County attempted murder trial.

Robert Krogmann, 50, is accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend on March 13th.

Jean Smith told deputies she was in an argument with Krogmann when he shot her with a handgun.

Krogmann pleaded not guilty.

His defense is claiming diminished capacity and intoxication. The trial was moved from Delaware to Dubuque County.
