DUBUQUE - In Dubuque, voters decided two races for city council.
In ward one, Incumbent Kevin Lynch has to be happy with a victory over challenger Bill Hammel. And at large, Ric Jones beat out his opponent Marcos Rubinstein.
There were some anxious moments at the Dubuque County Courthouse as the candidates and their families watched as the results rolled in. In the first ward the clear winner was incumbent Kevin Lynch who beat out his opponent Bill Hammel.

And two other winners are Mayor Roy Buol who was not running against anyone. He will keep his seat as Mayor. And Council Member Joyce Connors. She will keep her position in the 3rd Ward.
