Jones County Man Seriously Hurt in Combine Accident

MONTICELLO — Mark Hein, 58, of rural Jones County was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after a farm accident Monday, the Jones County Sheriff’s Office said.

Hein was airlifted to Iowa City after an accident about 7:15 p.m. He was working on a combine when he was seriously injured, according to the sheriff’s initial report.
