CEDAR RAPIDS - Election day is tomorrow. KCRG-TV9 and KCRG.com will be covering the vote all day, and will bring you the results as they become available. You can also follow the election on the go from your cell phone, at m.kcrg.com. Here are some answers to commonly asked questions.

Who is running for office? There are numerous Mayoral and city council races in each county, along with various public measures. For a complete list, and to learn about the candidates, use our voter guide.

When and where do I vote?
City elections are Tuesday. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. in most places, some smaller areas are open from Noon to 8:00p.m.

Am I registered to vote in Iowa? Click here to search state records.

How do I register to vote? If you haven't already registered, you can do so on election day. You must first go to the correct polling place (look above), and bring proper identification. Click here for a useful registration guide.

What if I need assistance voting? Iowa law requires all polling places to be accessible to all voters. This includes the voting area as well as the parking areas, walkways, and building entrances. Click here for help with curbside voting, voting with assistance, or voting equipment.
