When searching by last name, your search will return records for all employees whose last names contain your search term (i.e., “Smith” would return John Smith as well as John Smith-Jones). Iowa Football Coach Kirk Ferentz was paid about 23 times more than Iowa Gov. Chet Culver last fiscal year, according to information included in the latest Iowa Salary Book.

The Iowa salary database contains information about more than 60,000 state employees employed in Iowa during fiscal year 2009 which ended June 30, 2009.
