One Person Dead After Accident in Hardin County

HARDIN COUNTY - A Colorado man is dead after an accident in Hardin County. The Sheriff's Office says a pickup pulling a skid-loader on County Hwy. S-56 went into a ditch, rolling on its top.

Crews tried to rescue 33-year-old Gilberto Martinez of Commerce City, Colorado, but were unable to get him out in time.

An investigation revealed Martinez lost control of the truck because the skid loader was not properly secured to the trailer.
