DUBUQUE – The mobile home of a Dubuque man is destroyed in a fire Monday morning.

The fire started around 11:30 a.m. at Duane Redford’s home, 5237 Massey Station Rd., according to the Key West Fire Department.

Authorities do not think the fire was suspicious and said it may have originated near Redford’s furnace, but official cause remains under investigation.

The mobile home was a rental unit and the landlord has offered to help Redford find a place to stay, according to the Key West Fire Department.

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s department as well as The Bellevue Fire Department responded to the scene.

No one was injured in the fire.
