Linn County Sheriff Searches for Escaped Inmate

LINN COUNTY - The Linn County Sheriff's Office is looking for an inmate that has escaped from custody.

Rose Mary Newlon, 58, was being detained on a charge of forgery in Jackson County. She has been admitted to Mercy Medical Center and on Monday morning, the sheriff's office was notified that Newlon left the hospital.

Newlon is described as 5'4" tall, 145 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
