Local Movers Get into National Spotlight on TLC's Heavy Haulers

MECHANICSVILLE - Houses on the move in eastern Iowa will be in the spotlight of a reality show.

In August, the Jeremy Patterson House Moving Company moved a brick mansion from Mechanicsville to Tipton.

This move will be featured on TLC's "Heavy Haulers". The first episode airs Thursday at 9:00 p.m.

The show follows the Washington-based company as it moves huge structures like churches and ships.
