ANAMOSA - A Coggon woman charged in connection with the death of her daughter will go to trial in January.

Two-year-old Skylar Inman was beaten to death in 2008. Police say the man responsible is Lee Muldoon, the mother's boyfriend.

He's charged with first degree murder in the girl's death.

Skylar's mother, Brianna Volesky is charged with child neglect and child endangerment causing death.

Prosecutors wanted to try Volesky and Muldoon together, but a judge denied that request in March.
