KCRG-TV9 Wins Regional Emmy

MINNEAPOLIS - KCRG-TV9 News is the recipient of a 2009 Upper Midwest Emmy. The awards were presented Saturday night in Minneapolis.

KCRG-TV9 Photojournalist Matt Nelson won the top award in the "Sports Photographer" category. You can watch his award-winning story "Dorothy G" below.

KCRG-TV9, the only news organization in Eastern Iowa to win an Emmy, is part of the Upper Midwest Emmy region which includes Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, western Wisconsin and all of Iowa, except the Davenport-market.
