Waterloo Men Arrested for Cedar Falls Robbery

CEDAR FALLS - Two Waterloo men are charged with the robbery of a Cedar Falls gas station Thursday evening.

Police were called to B&B West at 3105 Hudson Rd just before 11:00 p.m. Three men entered the store, one carrying a gun. The men demanded money and fled the store on foot toward the Gold Falls Villa Apartments.

When police arrived on scene near the apartments, three men ran from a vehicle. Two were caught, with a third still on the loose.

Willie Newson, 26, and Jacob Gary, 19, were arrested and charged with 1st degree robbery, a class B felony.

Anyone that may have information on the third suspect are asked to call the Cedar Falls Police Department at 319-273-8612.
