Police Search for Truck that Hit Bicyclist
LINN COUNTY - The Linn County Sheriff's Department is searching for a white pick-up truck they believe hit a bicyclist Thursday evening.
It happened on County Home Road near Whittier just before 7:00 p.m.. Deputies found Jospeh Richey, 27, of Marion in the ditch. Richey, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Although he didn't see the vehicle, witnesses reported seeing a white truck with a utility box in the area at the time.
