LUTHER – A woman was killed Saturday evening after apparently losing control of her bicycle at Ledges State Park in Boone County.
The woman, in her early 50s, was bicycling with a friend when she apparently lost control of the bicycle she was riding while going down a hill and hit a tree. She was not wearing a helmet. The accident occurred at approximately 5 p.m. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to relatives.
