CR Woman Killed in Illinois Crash

WHITESIDE COUNTY, IL. - A crash in Illinois killed a Cedar Rapids woman.

Edith Daniel, 61, died when the car she was in rolled several times along Interstate 88 near Erie, Illinois. That happened Friday afternoon. The Whiteside County Sheriff's Office says her husband, James Daniel, 65, fell asleep at the wheel.

James Daniel and two 14-year-olds were taken to a nearby hospital. We do not know their conditions.
