CR Riverfront Improvement Commission Taking Applications

CEDAR RAPIDS - Applications are being accepted immediately for volunteer openings on the Riverfront Improvement Commission. City residency is required to apply and serve. The Riverfront Improvement Commission shall perform duties associated with the operation, maintenance, and supervision of the riverfront property, and river within the corporate limits of the City of Cedar Rapids.

Applications are available at http://www.cedar-rapids.org/boards/documents/Application.doc and may be submitted by mail to the City Manager's office, 3851 River Ridge Drive NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402, hand-carried to the City Manager's office, submitted by fax at (319) 286-5144, or by e-mail to citymanager@cedar-rapids.org. Applications are due by Friday, July 24, 2009, at 5 PM.
