WATERLOO - Waterloo Police make an arrest in a 8-month-old robbery investigation.

Just after 9:30 on the night of November 6th of last year, police were called to the Kwik Shop at 1671 Independence Avenue in Waterloo.

Witnesses told police three men entered the business, demanded money and threatened people inside with a handgun.

Investigators say one of the men lost their hat while leaving the scene.

Police say DNA tests on the hat led to Thursday's arrest of Jamar Ronod Wise, 17, of Waterloo.

Wise is charged with first degree robbery. Police are holding him without bond pending a court appearance.
