FAA Releases Initial Findings into Franklin Co. Plane Crash

By Aaron Hepker

FRANKLIN COUNTY - An initial report from the FAA says a plane hit power lines before it crashed last week in Franklin County. That crash killed the pilot 44-year-old David Colglazier of Latimer.

He was the only one on the plane.

The FAA is still investigating if hitting the power lines actually caused the crash or if the plane hit the lines as it was going down. The FAA still hasn't said where Colglazier was flying to or from.
