Man Facing Murder Charges After Driving SUV into Crowd

DES MOINES - A 19-year-old faces murder charges after witnesses say he deliberately drove into a crowd in Des Moines

Police say 19-year-old Travarias Chancellor of Chicago hit and killed two women with his SUV. He faces two counts of first-degree murder.

The incident drew dozens out in protest. Police say they had to break-up the crowd with pepper spray in order to reach the two victims.
