Two Men, One From Iowa, Shot to Death in Chicago

CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago police are investigating the shooting death of two men, including one from Iowa, in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the city's South Side.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office has identified the two as 26-year-old Loweton Harmon of Chicago and 22-year-old Leundra Phillip of North Liberty, Iowa.

The medical examiner's office said both died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Their deaths came during a bloody six-hour period late Saturday and early Sunday that saw one other fatal shooting, a fatal stabbing, two nonfatal stabbings and 20 people wounded by gunfire in various parts of the city.
