Accident Near Alburnett Injures One

ALBURNETT - Emergency crews life-flighted a Coggon woman to the hospital after two vehicles collided in Linn Friday afternoon. It happened shortly before one at Central City Road and North Alburnett Road.

The Sheriff's office says 41-year-old Carrie Elmore had to be pulled from an S-U-V. Then flown to St. Luke's in Cedar Rapids. Her injuries don't appear life threatening.

The crash did not injure the driver of the other vehicle.
