Fire Burns Bar in East Dubuque, Illinois

EAST DUBUQUE - In East Dubuque, Illinois on a five-alarm fire that burned the Stone Face Bar overnight.

Many people may know it as the old "My Brother's Place" bar.

The building was destroyed. And firefighters are looking for the cause.

"We're still investigating with the office of the state fire marshal and the East Dubuque Police Department," said Joe Heim, East Dubuque Fire Chief.

The bar was closed at the time, so no customers were hurt. But one firefighter did go to the hospital because of smoke inhalation.
