CEDAR RAPIDS - First Avenue traffic is running smoothly again near Coe College after a rollover wreck blocked motorists for nearly an hour.

A sport-utility vehicle and a pickup collided on First Avenue East near Coe Road NE around 7:45 a.m.

The SUV came to rest on its side, blocking the westbound lanes. A pop can, a pink highlighter and other personal items sat next to small piles of shattered glass.

Westbound traffic was detoured onto 12th Street SE.

The female driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The other driver was not injured.

Police at the scene would not say what caused the crash or which driver was at fault.
