Anamosa Man's Feet Caught in Farm Auger

By Daren Sukhram

ANAMOSA - A 49-year-old man is at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after getting both of his feet caught in a farm auger.

The Jones County Sheriff's Office says it was called to 15858 highway 64 in Anamosa.

Authorities say James Lucksted was unloading a semi trailer with corn using an auger, when he slipped while exiting the corn bin.

Both of Lucksted's feet were caught in the auger. He was flown to UIHC. Lucksted's condition isn't available.
