Cedar Rapids Non-Profit Needs New HomeBy Mark Geary, Reporter
CEDAR RAPIDS – A Cedar Rapids non-profit organization needs a new home. The “Clothes Closet” helps as many as five-hundred people every month.
The group allows people to take as much clothing as they need for free. But, the church where the organization is at right now got sold and the new owner needs the space. Now, the Clothes Closet needs a new low-rent or free space to keep the program going. "It's beneficial to everyone that comes in and it's a mission we'd like to continue,” Clothes Closet founder Connie Hillsman said. The group would like to remain in the Moundview or Wellington Heights area. That's because most of the clients walk to the Clothes Closet. If you can help, contact Connie Hillsman at ConnieHillsman@live.com or call her at 319.329.0940. follow him on Twitter.
