West Union Police Discover Mobile Meth Lab

WEST UNION - Police officers in West Union discovered a mobile meth lab during a traffic stop Saturday night. Around 9:30PM police tried to stop a car on Echo Valley Road east of West Union. After a short chase, police stopped the car and found several chemicals used to make meth.

The driver of the car, 30-year-old Holly Bixby of Shellsburg, is charged with making meth, driving while suspended, and eluding. The passenger, 37-year-old Steven Cash of Arkansas is also charged with manufacturing meth.

Both are at the Fayette County Sheriff's Office awaiting court appearances.
