Assault, Kidnapping Charges Dismissed Against Strawberry Point Man

FAYETTE COUNTY - Update: Kidnapping and sexual assault charges against a Strawberry Point man were dismissed in early 2010.

In June 2009, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a sexual assault. Officials spoke to a 16-year-old female victim who reported she was taken by vehicle to a remote location just northeast of Arlington and sexually abused.

After an investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office filed charges of sexual abuse in the second degree and kidnapping in the third degree against Dustin Lloyd Millard, 38, of Strawberry Point.

On January 6th, 2010, Judge Margaret Lingreen dismissed the charges against Dustin Millard.
